Would you like to work in a fun team?

What will you be doing during your internship?

You will be a part of our virtual reality dev team. You will be working on various projects on which you will need to make a time estimate together with your supervisor. After this you will start working on the project using a schedule you and your supervisor agreed upon. Per assignment we will be looking at your current skill set and your learning goals to create a balance between learning and production. You will learn to learn (self tutoring, research and everything related)and ask for help and feedback and process this into your assignments. You will also learn to work with schedules and priorities that come along with this process. Besides this you will learn more on the software you are working with, get some real experience working in a studio and learn a thing or two about social interaction with your colleagues.

What are we looking for?

You have to be open to change and be motivated to learn. We are looking for people that are honest, that function socially well with in a team and can work alone when they have to. These people will have a basic skill set in game design / development like having knowledge of 3d modelling, texturing, animating and / or scripting. We also expect you to be punctual and always deliver your work in a nice and orderly fashion, meeting all the criteria you were asked for. Beside this you should be able to talk objectively about your own work and be open to feedback.

Are you already working with Maya, Photoshop, Unreal, Blueprints, substance and / or Illustrator, then you will be having an edge over your competition.

What we are offering you

We will offer you a chance to develop yourself. At Victor Romeo you are encouraged to think along the challenges we face every day and your input is much appreciated. We offer an informal working environment were everyone has his own responsibilities. There is a lot of knowhow about making games / interactive experiences and running a business in itself. We have a monthly gaming night during which we will have a meetup and talk about all the news surrounding our company, play games and eat some pizza. If you prove yourself during your internship you will always be welcome at our studio. We are located at the beautifull site of the former Koepel prison in Breda, at walking distance from the central station. Our working hours are flexible but most of us work from 9:00 till 17:00, whatever fits your schedule best is negotiable.
